Create a legacy with your land.

At Principled Preservation, we're dedicated to how our stream, wetland and nutrient credit projects can help your project, property or public project. Through Loudoun Mitigation Bank, we help to create, envision, plan and implement improvements to our streams, swamps, wetlands and crop fields. Often, we sell the resulting credits to private or public users when a real estate or construction project has a negative impact on a swamp, stream or species nearby. Or when that project might cause some erosion or nutrients to escape to a nearby waterway, and thus into the waters of the Bay.
In most of these cases, the Federal, State and local permitting process would call for wiping out those natural asset losses with a positive “Mitigation” project in the nearby watershed. These mitigation projects take years to design, build and maintain so that nearby land and waters are restored to a “pristine” or natural condition; thereby improving the quality of local land and water. And, as you know, all water flows downhill so that as we improve water upstream – everything downstream improves as well.
And that is where you come in. As a private landowner, public land manager, or 501(3) C steward, you can team, partner or work with LMB in improving your water and soils.
